I had my account suspended, and all I could get out of them for an explanation was a link to their rules. Gee, thanks for clarifying. I appealed, but without the slightest clue as to what I might have done wrong, of course my appeal was rejected. They won’t allow me any additional appeals.

On the bright side, our monthly expenses have been reduced by $10 per month because my supportive husband canceled his YouTube Red subscription the same day I was suspended.

They can’t possibly be putting much thought into what they’re doing here. Some 13-year-old kid mouths off in the comments and gets suspended for life and then what? YouTube has lost every penny of potential revenue from that person for life, even after he’s grown up and (hopefully) learned to behave better.
