The article is the product, not the bio box or anything else at the bottom. If I buy a product from a company, I am not annoyed if they put a catalog in the box when they ship it out. People are used to seeing bios attached to articles, and I can’t imagine them being annoyed by them — or by a simple e-mail signup form. Honestly, I am annoyed if I find a writer I really want to follow and can’t find a way to join their list.
